RED BODY WITHOUT OUTLINE
“RED BODY WITHOUT OUTLINE” is a series of illustrations that emerged from my research – a creation in the midst of the COVID-19 contingency that emphasizes the importance of mapping the body for its understanding. These images express the external and internal chaos that I developed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, as I was forced to face my feelings and my corporeality to understand the ways in which pain and suffering flow. I needed to take refuge from my bodily and emotional suffering, which emerged in the midst of the pandemic.
These illustrations are part of my degree project called "FLOW IN RED: Ephemeral Experiences from the Transformations of Red," which allowed me to obtain my degree in visual arts at the National Pedagogical University of Colombia.
